You owe it to yourself to look good

Leave it to the color junkies at MAC to come up with the most fabulously idiot-proof way to wear seriously vivid drama eyeliner. Fluidline looks like a liquid, but its gel formula is easier to apply, easier to fix and easier to wear (it wipes off clean, but stays put once it's set). Of the twelve shades on offer, we'll be rocking teal-turquoise Blue Peep.

If you want an intense formula and weird hue, Make-Up Forever is your brand. But for all their pro-level wackiness (mustard yellow liquid pigment? A range of fake moustaches?), an easy neutral will pop up, like mother of pearl-infused Diamond Powder. It's a bit wearable glitter, a bit shimmer dust, and goes on sheer enough that its loose, flyaway texture won't ruin the rest of your face. Peachy-warm Bronze is good for glowy springtime realness.

When the sun comes out, you have to rethink those alcohol-loaded sprays and gels that will strip your color and fry your hair. But then oily, "nourishing" sun care products often render you limp of 'do. For something with more tumescence, turn to Amsterdam-based salon line Keune's Gelee Spray, a spray gel with UV protection and serious holding power. There's a stiffy joke to be made here, but we're not touching it.

Back before the dollar went south, BD would actually make trips to Paris to stock up on anything by nature-loving pharmacy brand Nuxe. Their latest bit of brilliance: patent-pending anti-cellulite Tonific Minceur. The gee-whiz ingredients are de-fattifying caffeine, boosted by Indian Jangli seeds and Guggul resin. Sounds curry-licious, but the soft texture, fast absorption visible firming are what sold us. Available at Barneys New York, 212-826-8900.

Another argument for Francocentrism, G.M. Collin, has just launched a men's line they tout as the first "dermo-corrective" skincare for gents—with nanotechnology for maximum penetration. Since we do not have microscopes at our disposal, we'll simply vouch for Hydrating Cream's feather-light texture, 4711-ish scent, skin-plumping effect and, yes, it did enter our epidermis with efficiency. Of course now that we said we liked it, we're expecting it not to call us for days. Available at Oasis Day Spa, 212-254-7722.

Fabien Baron—graphics guru, branding visionary, multitasking myth-maker—can do more in 15 minutes than just about anyone. So it was no great surprise when news spread earlier this year that he'd been named editorial director of Andy Warhol's Interview. At his new West Village digs, he opened up to Hint about everything from his redesign of the magazine to his designs on the White House.

01, 22, 16. Nope, it’s not bingo night; it's the numerical filing system at Maison Martin Margiela. Adding to the mathematical fun is a new line of fine jewelry in absurdist proportions and scale. Also this month: Comme de Garçons for H&M, Louis Vuitton and more. By Franklin Melendez
