Allow us to submit one more gorgeous EDP for your approval this month. We’ve sung the praises of Tocca’s Laundry Delicate before; now the company has released three new eaux de parfum in the same scents as the wash: Touch (which has only been out as an eau de toilette before), Florence and Stella. As with the liquid soaps, the sparkly, fresh Stella ($68) is our personal favorite. Blood orange, white freesia, lily and orchid are deepened with musk and sandalwood to make a very femme and seductive, not overly sweet or cloying, spritz. And so the time has come that we’re glad to smell like underpants. Who knew?

For their gorgeous Aromaessence oils and balms, we’ve long loved foofy French brand Decleor. Now they’ve got a new mask—Experience de l’Age Triple Action Gel Cream Mask ($45)—that is both convenient (after 10 minutes, just wipe it off with toner; no rinsing required) and action-packed, with wheat protein and corn extract to fill wrinkles, Peruvian ginseng extract to promote new cell growth and plum kernel oil to preserve hydrolipic film. It’s recommended for skin over 40, and though we’re not there yet, the lightening and tightening it provides is most welcome now.

Despite our advancing years, we’re still victims of an unsightly whitehead or 15. We’ve tried many a BHA unguent but often feel like our skin has been mine-swept after applying. This is not the case with Kinerase’s Clear Skin Serum ($79), which is a yummy little cocktail of skin-clearers (salicylic acid), anti-microbials (leptospermum), moisture retention agents (urea), sebum inhibitors (oleanolic acid) and kinetin, a plant-based hormone that promotes cell growth. Blemishes are going bye-bye and our skin is looking a lot brighter. For anyone who wants something majorly active but not majorly irritating, look no further.

Sometimes life hands you a mitzvah, like when swinging London’s hairdresser-to-the-stars Johnnie Sapong paid our roommate a visit during Paris Fashion Week. Persuasive as we can be, we strong-armed the friendly fellow into giving us a badly needed cut, as it had been months and we were not looking too good. Well, he rocked us, people. We lost a lot of crispy ends but maintained length in a very layer-y sort of way. The bangs were handled with the appropriate au courant choppiness, and the color respected. It all makes us urge anyone who’s passing through the UK to try to book him for a cut (250) at his West London salon, Sapong. It’s boutique (there are just seven chairs in the public area) but totally full-service (color, cuts, extensions, perming and straightening for our afro-having friends). The only problem is, with clients like Jude Law, Kirsten Dunst and Natalie Portman, Johnnie is rather in demand, so you might want to call now. Like, right now.
