WED, AUG 20:
Meet Guilty, an Italian-owned yacht with a dazzling WWI camouflage pattern by Jeff Koons, soon to be featured in Italian Vogue. But why Guilty? It's not like we've seen this camo print before. Oh.
TUE, AUG 19:
New York Fashion Week wouldn't be the same without a certain Japanese name. Following its Meatpacking store launch last season, Yohji Yamamoto's Y-3 will once again steal the spotlight, not only with its show on 9/7, but also with another store launch on 9/9, this time in Soho. The DJ is Alex from Tokyo. We mean, he's French and lives in Tokyo. Or something like that.
MON, AUG 18:
We worked the door of a tragic club with Richard Move forever ago. Clearly, the choreographer—who's collaborated with Blondie and Baryshnikov—has moved on. Starting today he performs Hostile Takeovers, six (free) shows that bring together Butoh, Hermès and Koons.
FRI, AUG 15:
Who knew that when Nike said they would sponsor the U.S. Olympic team that they would also open, on the same day as the Opening Ceremony, pop-up shops (or "retail installations") on a boat in Paris and an old theater in Los Angeles? New York is next, with a store launch scheduled for 8/21 at 21 Mercer St.
THU, AUG 14:
