We're crazy in love with these new faces
By Joseph Tenni

Olga Trokhova
The latest export from that hotbed of model material is Olga Trokhova. Currently burning up the pages of V and W (isn't that a car?), she can also be seen in Paris and Italian Vogue. We can't enough of the smokin' Russian!

Karla Devine
Not since Rachel Hunter has New Zealand delivered such a captivating kiwi as Karla Devine. The leggy Libran, who says her two favorite things are brie pizza and a pair of jeans by fellow countrywoman Karen Walker, has appeared in antipodean titles like Pavement and Summer Winter. Set to explode stateside soon, our little cherub is simply Devine.

Johanna Stickland
Mode agency's Kelly Streit has a new mare in Johanna Stickland, who had an impressive show season walking for Chloé, Anne Demeulemeester, Yohji Yamamoto, John Galliano, Christian Dior and Givenchy. Look for the Canadian teen in Jil Sander’s new campaign, shot last week by Willy Vanderperre. (Fun fact: In her free time, Johanna sings karaoke with her model roommates, Mariya Markina and Anna Barsukova, on their home machine.)

Ayako Hayamizu
Japanese jetsetter Ayako Hayamizu has everybody saying "こんにちは!" Spotted on Tokyo's fashionable Omotesando street, the pretty Piscean recently posed for Numéro, as well as the Paris and Italian editions of Vogue. With a top Japanese make-up artist for a fiancé, could Ayako be any more flawless?

Truus Hooiveld
Dutch treat Truus Hooiveld is juggling school and modeling with ease, even after the buzz she created with an exclusive appearance in Prada's spring show. Truus, it seems, is stranger than fiction.

Daisy Lowe
Joining the list of rock star offspring—Liv Tyler, Lizzy Jagger, Theodora Richards—is Daisy Lowe. The Brit It girl has appeared in W, i-D, Pop and British Vogue, while her campaign resume reads H&M, French Connection and Agent Provocateur. Daddy and stepmum—aka Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani—must be so proud.

April Rose
In keeping with the rock star offspring theme, Down Under wonder April Rose is the daughter of InXS rocker, Kirk Pengilly. After getting her parents to agree to meet with agencies, the Sydneysider appeared in Pavement and Australian Marie Claire. April is now in New York, where she was optioned for Ralph Lauren's Rugby campaign within her first two weeks. A Rose by any other famous name...
