Our muggy summer blues got a kick in the pants from James Franco’s melodramatic turn on General Hospital last month. We swooned over the irony-minded hunk and his recurring role as bad-boy artist Franco (quite the stretch, right?), so much so that we considered venturing into fan fiction, or at least splicing together an homage video like this one. Still, we can't deny that there's a hole in hearts now that the story line has come to an explosive finale with a fictionalized live event at MOCA. Thankfully, the museum has come to our rescue, producing Soap at MOCA, a Soap Opera Digest-like rag that documents the mind-bending project and promises to reveal everything we ever wanted to know about the brainy heartthrob. We’re hoping for a pull-out poster or needlepoint patterns to knit a nice cushion in his image.
