Record Time

Following word that Karen Elson will debut an album this summer comes news today of Irina Lazareanu's plans to kick off her own imminent record release with a secret show during Paris Fashion Week. Elson's voice ain't half bad and Lazareanu got her start touring with ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty's band, Babyshambles, but a couple of their model cohorts might (ahem) be suffering from (cough) delusions of grandeur. Seems Madonna boy-toy Jesus Luz has miraculously secured a deal from his older girlfriend's former record company, Warner Bros., parlaying his three or so DJ gigs into a music career. And though details are scarce, it now appears Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi will likewise drop an album between high-heeled photo shoots. While his sweet music may only be destined for remixes at Beige, something tells us it'll end up on one of the Kaiser's 100+ iPods.
