Rag & Bone

Rag & Bone

On or about March 1910, the apocalypse came during a horseback ride through Wiltshire. That perhaps mangled Virginia Woolf quote, coupled with a sweetly melancholic sense of pastoralism, seemed to pervade Rag & Bone spring collection—and not just because of Thom Yorke’s crooning in the background. All told, Marcus Wainright and David Neville’s military-meets-equestrian-meets-motorcycle-meets-shepherd theme translated nicely into peasant-cut pants paired with heavy boots and wide belts, Edwardian long coats cinched at the back by metal closures and tuxedo shirts framed by finely tailored vests. Post-apocalyptic or not, you can't go wrong with horses and Harleys.
