The fall shows are almost upon us, and with it the second round of Fashion's Night Out. While we’re not exactly peeing ourselves at the thought of teen models mixing weak cocktails at hip downtown boutiques (we won't name names), we admit we are titillated by Cindy Sherman’s collaboration with Balenciaga. The art chameleon will be pairing up with the fashion powerhouse to present the U.S. debut of a series of self-portraits featuring the artist clad in Nicolas Ghesquière's furry finest. As per usual, Sherman has added her own twist, channeling over-the-top characters, some of which evoke high-profile editors, past and present. Bonus: Karen Elson will perform at Balenciaga's Chelsea store, strumming her newest tunes—and that might be worth the certain crush.
