French Vogue Turns 90!

We’ve all heard of the French and their anti-aging stance, but only French Vogue could make turning 90 look this good. The venerated style bible will celebrate its nonagenarian anniversary with a hefty October special issue and a costume ball later in the month. Under the auspices of perennially kohl-eyed and bed-headed Carine Roitfeld, Lara Stone will grace the cover, followed by a whopping 677 pages of contributions from an endless string of glamorous co-conspirators. See if you, too, can address them by first name in a purring French accent: Hedi, Terry, Steven, Mert, Marcus, Inez, Vinoodh. Those in France get an added treat, a loose-bound set of photographs from the magazine’s archive. On newsstands September 20.
