Hooked: Miu Miu

With the start of each Fashion Week comes a number of things to mark the occasion: grandiose dinners, all-night soirees, killer hangovers and…handbags? Yes. This season, Miu Miu is set to release 46 handbags, sold in each of the four major fashion capitals. First up is New York with the first 16 designs. While all the bags have the same classic purse shape, each one is embellished a little differently. Handmade from high-end materials like ostrich, brocade and exotic skins, the bags range in style from a casual cowgirl number to a bedazzled ladies-who-lunch pocketbook. Hmmm, is this Miuccia's view of America?
