Being in love with someone who loves me, and my cats.

I hope one that I can look forward to.

Not being able to remember.

I hope a good sense of humor.

I used to be able to do a fairly good Audrey Hepburn. Now it’s more like Moe Howard from The Three Stooges.

Rudi Gernreich’s workroom.

What is your most embarrassing fashion moment?
When I asked the director of The London Sunday Times award show, in which Rudi was honored, during rehearsals if I could be excused to go to the bathroom, and she said in front of everyone, "Why do you want to take a bhaath?"

What is your most triumphant fashion moment?
Being able to have the photograph of the topless swimsuit not ruin my career.

What do you do when you're creatively blocked?
Think hard.

What is the most attractive quality in a person?
Kindness and humor.

What makes you feel the most alive?
Happiness.

What is your best talent, after your work?
Decorating and editing photographs, films and copy.

Total happiness.

Dying.

My husband’s death and Rudi’s death.

To make everyone happy, loving and productive.

"The last time I saw tar pits was April 6th and all the little dinosaurs reminded me of sis," sung to the tune of "The last time I saw Paris,” which I made up and sang at age five, to the great annoyance of my big sister Babs.

If you could erase one memory, what would it be?
Seeing my husband dead.

If you could live out one fantasy, what would it be?
Working and laughing with Bill and Rudi for eternity.

If you could change your life in one way, what would it be?
To “pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again,” with apologies to Dorothy Fields and Jerome Kern.
