Domestic dowager Martha Stewart continues her unlikely string of high fashion coups, following appearances by Grace Coddington and Proenza Schouler with none other than Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte. The crafty sister team will appear on the May 20th sibling-themed episode to showcase some of their creations and share a few handy tips. We’re still trying to remove the stains from our failed attempts at Proenza’s tie-dyed tank, so we’re hoping we can follow along this time. Of course, the Pasadena based duo are better suited for Stewart’s craftiness, developing many of their couture-like techniques from humble arts and crafts. Possible segment ideas: how to artfully burn flannel; how to assemble hardware bolts into fancy footwear, how to spot-dye chiffon to simulate blood. The possibilities are endless. Tune into the fun on Thursday.
