FRI, JUL 18: Remember Men's Fashion Week in New York? We don't either, or not very well, but apparently some incarnation of it survived, and returns next week. We're not holding out much hope, but on 7/22 we'll be hitting Oak's party at 205 Club with Orthodox and Sweden's Julian Red, who'll DJ from 9-11 pm, followed by DFA's Jacques Renault and Justin Miller.
THU, JUL 17: They've already exhibited art stars Doug Aitken, Collier Schorr and Thomas Demand. Now 303 Gallery has signed a second space in Chelsea, where it plans to celebrate its 25th anniversary on 7/23 (547 W. 21st St., 6:30-10:00 pm) with a performance by The Virgins, a DJ set by Thurston Moore and "fairy food" cookies by artist Karen Kilimnik. After-party at Beatrice Inn.
WED, JUL 16: Terry Richardson engages in a lot of, let's say, seedy collaborations, but the one with James Frey (the guy who incurred Oprah's wrath) might actually be the seediest. "Wives, Wheels, Weapons" is a limited-edition book pairing provocative text and images from the author and photographer, inspired by L.A. street gangs.
TUE, JUL 15: Shoot for the Stars is a new London club (359 Bethnal Green Rd) devoted to celebrity obsession. Here's what to expect on 7/17: video art by drag queens, 15 minutes of iPod fame and an I Shot Andy Warhol relay.
MON, JUL 14: London's Architecture Foundation, with PIN–UP magazine and historian Andrew Ayers, has mounted At Home with Mme Le Corbusier, an exhibit at Closet Gallery on the elusive wife of modernism's most influential architect.
